Calling all young musicians….
We are looking for a modern remix of one of the signature tunes in Adolphe Adam’s score for Giselle. The remix can be in any modern genre – hip hop, trance, anything we can dance to!
Specification details:
- Track length– 2-4min
- A recognisable (hummable) theme from the original score required.
- Must be an original remix (no copies of existing work)
- You must be aged between 10 to 25 years old
Competition submissions should be uploaded to sound cloud and the link emailed to info@southwestdancetheatre.com by Friday 25th October with your name, age and contact details.
The winner
The winner will also receive a £20 itunes voucher and a free session in one of the music practice rooms at The Station.
The winning remix will then be used in a performance of SWDT CYGNETS contemporised version of Giselle at the Station on Friday 13th December and as an overture to their performance at The Dance of the Grimm Heroine at Circomedia, Thursday 31st October.
